eQinox Sun gif

Post by Vern »

The new Unistellar app version 2.5.0 will goto the sun rather than you having to manually find the sun by how small the shadow of the telescope is.
I took an image a day for five days at about 3pm edt and combined them in a gif.

I can't collimate, focus or do the sensor calibration (dark frame) in the daylight with the solar filter on. So the sun images are taken with the focus from the last night I was viewing DSOs. I have a Meade glass white-light solar filter sf 600 ID 152mm.
