I have three of the Fujiyama KK Ortho's, the 25, 18, and 12.5mm. I have quite a few older long
I use the 18mm more than any other lens, and I'd like another so that I can compare views in two scopes side by side. I've also been wanting the 9mm for some time. AgenaAstro is sold out of the 18mm, but they have the 9mm. Hmmm. I look on Google for the 18mm, and the only place that seems to have it is 365Astronomy.com in the UK. And there are only 3 of the 18mm's left. As for the 9mm, there were 4 available, compared to 5 on Agena.
So, being a good male, I go upstairs to inform my other half that "I'm buying something" I do this so rarely she's happy for me when I do. Can't beat that.
Turns out, with the currency exchange and shipping, it was $35CAD cheaper from Europe than it would have been from the US, if both lenses were available. Wasn't that way 6 months ago! Economics
Even though I might now have rain for the next month, it can't last forever, much like these KK's. I'm satisfied now. At least till my skies clear for a bit, then I'll work on the 7,6,5 and 4mm's....
Thanks for reading; between that purchase and posting here, that's my night for astronomy! I hope you're having clear skies, and all the best!
