Good ideas Randy! For the dew shields I buy black 3mm EVA foam sheets of eBay and cut and staple to the right size.

The dew shields for two refractors in the pic are made this way.

HOLY PICTURES BATMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a deal - lol.

Several tries before I got the mouse exactly in the right spot between the two (image)(image) inserts. There is ZERO room for error, but the IMAGE function DOES actually work.

I use the same EVA foam but in 5mm thickness. High humidity, and my neighbors' +200w unshielded "porch" lights, kind of required it.

Yes! If you are already ready with the image URL copied and ready to paste, when you click on the little icon for the IMAGE tags, the cursor automatically ends up in between the tags, so all you have to do is hit paste, and the URL plops right into place.

Good for you! Persistence pays off!

In my experience EVA foam protects from dew better than metal, hard plastic and whatever material commercial SCT shields are made of.
