My first full day off from work since returning from the April 8th eclipse. I still have tons of data to edit from that adventure but woke up to calm, clear skies this morning and couldn't resist added a bit more data on the Sun.
I sure wish the Sun had been this active on April 8th!
First up, the white-light images
Explore Scientific ED152 CF APO with Baader ASTF solar film and Baader Solar Continuum filter on the ZWO2600MM
I try to keep my white-light captures to 1 minute or less so I managed to capture 1071 frames of SER 16bit data with an ROI of 3000x3000. Stacked with AutoStakkert! 3.0 and used the best 55 of 1071 frames. Colorized in Photoshop.
Up next, Ha with the Lunt 80mm Double-Stack and ZWO1600MM. With Ha, I try to limit my capture time to under 45 seconds. Capturing a 16bit SER file and ROI of 2000x2000 I managed to capture 873 frames and stacked the best 55 for this final image.
Stacked in AutoStakkert! 3.0 and post processed in ImPPG with colorization in Photoshop.
All captured in the new RoR with both scopes riding on the A.P. Mach 1. A little extra counterweight was needed for this load but the mount worked flawlessly, needing no corrections during the captures.

Super Nice discs Greg, showing some good seeing it looks too...
Seeing was better than normal. That's why I jumped on the opportunity this morning. It was very calm and hadn't warmed up too much when I grabbed this data.
Thanks for looking.

You got an excellent focus Greg. Do you use the SharpCap Focus Assistant?
Graeme
I haven't tried it yet. I really need to dive into all these new features in SharpCapPro and see how they work.
I just had my laptop sitting there next to the scope and threw a dark towel over my head to shroud the Sun, then zoom into a sunspot region at about 150%.
