Busy Week of Outreach!
Last night, 14 April, was also pretty special. A local symphony orchestra was holding an "Out of this World" concert devoted to space music. It included sound tracks from Star Trek, Star Wars, 2001 Space Odyssey, and Apollo 13. They requested we provide a viewing opportunity for the attendees. Unfortunately the concert was scheduled for 6:30 pm to 8 pm, providing limited viewing targets. We did provide solar and lunar viewing, which for most proved to be an exciting and rare opportunity!
Finally, on 16 April we are scheduled to support STEM night at one of the local elementary schools. Busy, busy, busy!!
