I got up so late today; it was wonderfull! I passed out last night on the couch downstairs with the window open and an outdoor temp of about 0C (32F). I felt like a hibernating bear under the blanket, I've so needed a solid 8 hours sleep for so long

Except for a few "flat" days, this cycle has been much better that the last, I hope the predictions are right!
If you're thinking about getting into solar, now might be a good time. A decent scope with some Baader 5.0 film will open up a whole new world into white light; it's cheap and easy to do!

You are so right, the perception does shift! For me lately, I've had more solar opportunities than night time. I'm hoping it balances out with the warmer weather!
