Solar Eclipse 8 Apr 2024

Post by Hondo »

Greetings all. I have not posted here in a long time but here in NB, we had totality for the eclipse. I have seen many partial eclipses in my life but this was the first total one. In a word, spectacular! Here is a composite from start to finish taken from my front yard. I used a Canon T3 with a Samyang 70mm lens along with a homemade Baader solar filter. Take care and thanks for looking.

Nice image!

Pretty sweet being able to see it from your own back yard. It was also my first, and I drove to Miramichi to see it.
