SharpCap EAA Solar and Lunar
I was "forced" to get up early today (06:00) to take my daughter to work!
Low-down on the southern horizon (~10 degrees altitude) was the waning Moon (60%) set in the twilight sky. I grabbed my Celestron 4SE with the 294c camera attached and using SharpCap's Live Planetary stacking tool managed to capture the image below. The image is from a rolling stack of 100 subs.
This afternoon (15:46), the clouds parted and I turned my attention to the Sun. The image below is from a rolling stack of 400. The sunspots 3625 (left) and 3619 (right) were shown nicely against the limb of the Sun.
I'm really enjoying using SharpCap's Live Planetary/Solar/Lunar stacking tool with the diminutive but mighty SE4. It just seems to work and makes live viewing of the Sun and Moon an incredibly easy activity
Have fun.
Pete

Your Nexstar 4se really does work well; you're getting a lot out of it!
