Not the best environment for grabbing a comet, bright moonlight, twilight, passing hi-cirrus, but the cards that were delt. Set-up, ancient CG-4 mount with poor battery powered drive, Rokinon 135mm f2 telephoto, Asi1600mc-cool OSC camera, no guiding, rough polar alignment, laptop on a tv tray. I don't do much imaging out in the wild anymore, mostly in the roll-off, but can't get down to the western horizon inside that. Summary, comet barely there, just above sky brightness, faintly visible tail detail, total exposure 10 minutes in 30sec subs at f2.

Final note, about one degree of tail visible thru my 11x70 binox.

Stretching the guts out of it in negative shows some fine structure in the tail.

Forgot to add, was captured on 15 March. The Ides of March were bad for another famous person in history too!!!
