Betelgeuse Report

Tried my tired eyes on the Betelgeuse Project last night, report as follows.

Almost no difference between Betelgeuse and Aldebaran, same color, same elevation in the sky when observed about 9pm local time(PST). So it seems to me to have faded again. Only caveat, Betelgeuse possibly a small bit brighter , +0.7 vs +0.9. But definitely brighter than Bellatrix, which was the depths of the last fade out.

Clear skies, I might have two in a row

Steve

They did not, again, maybe tomorrow.

Thanks,

I was looking at Betelgeuse the other night and it did seem a bit faint compared to how it used to be decades ago. But I had already read Joe's report so I just kind of chalked it up to my much older eyes.
