Hi all,
I sketched this galaxy back a couple of years ago.
A bright (as far as galaxy's go!) visual feast through the eyepiece in Centaurus.
It was the first galaxy that I successfully hunted down when I started looking up years ago.
Cheers
Wayne.

Thank you Wayne. Nice to see you checking in with a sketch my friend. I have observed this one myself several years ago, and it is truly an intriguing object. Well done!

I should have added, Wayne
@Falcon 63 that you win the
VROD of the day for your observation and sketch. Very nice and unique! Congratulations here on March 1, 2024.

Congratulations on the APOD. I can see from the annotation that you used a 10” but what was the light pollution situation at your site?
