Images and notes on the Dwarf II - Initial work
Solar, the first one is a single jpg image:
DWARF_TELE_2024-01-26-11-46-19-089 by Tony Boutle, on Flickr
This one is tracked video 5000 frames best 1200 in PIPP stacked in AS4 (beta) and tweaked in Affinity.
Dwarf II Sol 26124 AF by Tony Boutle, on Flickr
Below is M42 this is the stacked PNG file from the Dwarf 10s subs; 80 gain; 240 shots (approx 40 minutes). Rough polar alignment means there is very little field rotation.

Passed through Pixinsight with 20 manual darks:

In future I would reduce the gain and take more exposures to stop the blow out on the Trapezium. Still not bad - the Dwarf uses its own dark calibration on the PNG stack, but the individual FITS are best processed with manual darks (20 in this case).
Finally, M45 Stacked PNG 8s subs; 80 gain; 120 shots (approx 24 minutes).

Pixinsight again (I should have been harder on the SCNR (touch of the Greenies):

Same comment as on the M42 the stars are blown out, so lower gain more exposures in the future, star shapes are a bit iffy on this... Could be down to the positioning of the Seven sisters getting lower in the sky - slight trailing with a 2 sec less exposure. Or the Dwarf could be better with the object directly in front of it in the sky?
This is my setup:

After I took the shot I realised the mount was the wrong way around for polar alignment - but heyho - I just bunged it on, the leather bag contains an AVX counterweight (for stability - the Dwarf has a large sail area).
Tony.

With limitations
It must be fun to display what's happening to a crowd of keen astronomy curious people.
