While out in the astro shed I was looking over the Takahashi eyepiece turret and noticed that
Takahashi has a notice about getting the proper back focus a 2" x 35 mm extension tube will be required.
I searched for the tube and it is € 158!

Luckily I already have a Omegon 2" x 35 mm extension tube.
This cost the outrageous price of € 30!
https://www.omegon.eu/de/verlaengerungs ... mm/p,54437

I really do not understand how € 158 is justified.

the price changes are simply out of the norm.
the phenomenon has been very widespread since the pandemic, in certain cases I can understand.
but often I find that the consumer's elasticity is stretched to the limit of common sense.
but the demand is still very present, so they are taking advantage of it.

I think that if someone absolutely has to have Takahashi silk screened on the barrel, the saying about a fool and their money comes to mind.

Model railroaders use printable decal paper for logos, etc.to put on rolling stock. Find a logo, print it on decal paper, apply to whatever. Et voila!
