Yes it was a nice service plus the pastor mentioned astronomy and the forum, too!

Nice service and the pastor even mentioned that Marshall was forum moderator.
Loved all the Marshall photos they shared. Marshall had a great life and now he is among the stars.

Yes he did - that was ultra-cool. Marshall also was a ham radio enthusiast and a geology fan with a rock tumbler. And his lifelong profession was as an electrical engineer.

I have been away from the forum for a while and a while and I was just doing a search to see when was the last time my friend was on the forum cause I noticed he hadn’t been on in a while.
Then I came across this thread.
My heart is saddened to hear of his passing.
He was the nicest and kindest person to me on this forum, he gifted me a whole set ofEP ’s and when I was looking for a Barlow he wanted to gift me one that he had free of cost.
I said he was too generous, and paid him for that, but again his generosity and kindness to me will never be forgotten so very sad to hear about his passing !
