Very sad news.

Long time member Makuser (Marshall) has past away.
He has been going through some recent (6 months) illness and as a result left our earth yesterday January 18th 2024.
He will be missed!

RIP Marshall, you were the nicest person ever. You were a stalwart both here and the old forum. Always something nice to say, so caring with the PM's, a total family person and the best Space X launch pictures taken from your backyard.
The three of us here will really miss you. Godspeed.

Oh no! This is very sad. TSS will never be the same without Marshall. I had so many wonderful interactions with him here. He will be very missed. Rest in peace Marshall.

I am sad to read this. He and I joined the old Astronomy Forum at about the same time. He has been a great encouragement down through the years. I will miss him.

I am sad to hear Makuser is no longer with us. I always enjoyed his posts here and on AF. If one believes in an afterlife, it is with hope that we then can personally visit the wonders of the universe and observe them up close. If that is so, then I hope he is doing that and more!
