ScopeDome 3m observatories
https://www.primalucelab.com/astronomy/ ... atory.html
They are made in Poland and sold in the EU, Canada, and Australia. At a higher price (but including shipping), they also seem to be for sale in the US:

There is only limited discussion on the internet, that I found. Anybody here have any more knowledge or thoughts about how these compare in quality and value to other small observatories available in the US?
They sure look impressive! Thanks.

Heh. Some people would probably characterize where I live now as "the boonies."

Re: ScopeDome 3m observatories
Well, my moderately-good location is one of the reasons I have become (more) interested in astronomy. But it's not all perfect. We have terribly slow internet access, feral hogs constantly dig/damage our property, electric power, phone connections, and even the US mail delivery are less than fully reliable, and it is a moderately-long drive to shopping areas. But I still prefer it to urban/suburban living. I enjoy watching the deer go by, and it is very relaxing to go outside and throw food to the (quite sizable) catfish in our pond.pakarinen wrote: ↑Fri Oct 11, 2019 1:28 pmAntennaGuy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 9:17 pmHeh.
