first sunspot sketch, August 27, 2023.

here is my first solar sketch, be indulgent, I don't have John Baars's mastery.

But I recently saw his sketch on sunspots and it made me want to do one. so thank you (john baars)

eyepiece Delos 6 .
magnified x100.
a very calm and clear sky.
time between 4:00 p.m. and 4:39 p.m.

You did a very good job, the proof is in the photo's of @Solsearcher. Those are done very well too, by the way!
Also nice to see the evolution of the spots since the other day.
One does not necessarily need mastership to sketch, a bit of guts is all that is needed. And the intention to sketch what one sees and not what one knows.

I'm glad you picked up the pencil. You should do that more often! Can we induct you into the very small guild of sketchers on The Sky Searchers?
It's very nice to have people even on a modern forum who honour the old craft!! :D

Certainly worthy of the VROD for today - two straight days of great sketches. Congratulations Jean-Yves!
