I am still trying to start my astrophotography using my old SkyWatcher MAK 90.
I have successfully used just a simple tripod with a Pan-Tilt head and my Canon 250D to get an acceptable shoot of the Moon, but still to get a usable result from MAK90+Canon 250D at Jupiter/Mars both came out rather zero.
More than any other problem, I seem to find it impossible to get Jupiter/Mars in the Live View at all, even with 1/50sec & ISO 6400.
I suspect the problem is mainly fixing the head/mount to get the planet within
My searches around indicatyed I thought a good way forward to be the Star Advem=nturer 2i Pro Pack. This is not available from Amazon(India) or Skywatcher(India/USA),, is actually available from Amazon USA website online at a good price.
But I still want to see if I can go in steps, so to my real query
Would purchasing only the following
1.SkyWatcher S20530 Star Adventurer Latitude (
2.SkyWatcher S20540 Star Adventurer Counter Weight Kit, Telescope Accessory, Black
3.Sky-Watcher S20550 Star Adventurer Ball Head Adapter, Telescope Accessory, Green
achieve a purpose of mounting my MAK90+Canon 250D successful in getting a stable pointing to 75deg Alt without droop etc. and therefore successful Jupiter/Mars/Saturn etc...
Do excuse me if I am talking drivel.
Thanks for any help.
