Most of us are unable to sample every design out there in an attempt to find that one set which is optimal for our needs.
I have bought sets of Celestron Ultimas, Orion Expanse clones and Celestron X-Cel LX models and have had varying degrees of success with each.
Recently discovering the Astro Tech PF flat field ep, I bought the 5.5 and 25mm sizes. With their dimensions and performance, not to mention price, I thought they might be good in pairs, so obtained the whole set - times two - and tried them out last night on the Moon and planets. The decision to acquire was a good one, as they offer good eye relief, flat fields, light weight, soft rubber eyecups, small girth for the entire range, and low price. I find nothing objectionable, here.

While the X-Cels provide fine views, their girth can be an issue if IPD is close.
