Reclining chair is the best tool for naked eye and binos observing.

Speaking of a fun discussion, I have another question for @JayTee ...You had mentioned using 1000 lb. capacity lazy susan bearings. Seeing as @Lady Fraktor had started this train of thought with her mention of using an inflatable boat, my question is: Exactly how big is Lady Fractor? :o

I'm sorry but that is a question I cannot answer! And it is a question that should probably not be asked of a lady!

152 cm tall and 49 kg, not so scary ;)
My EQ-5 and 150 mm f/8 setup almost weighs the same

Well, I got lucky and have another clear night, at least for now. I don't feel like setting up a scope up so I'm going to grab a lounge chair, throw on my Carharrts and try the binos again...

How did the session go?

I'm not sure I would consider it a "session". Technically I guess it was but I had no plans on what to look at and I paid no attention to where I was in the sky. I just wanted to check out the night sky and I did. I have to say that the lounge chair made a huge difference. It was much steadier than my first attempt, as I figured it would be. Thanks to all for the suggestions. Again, I'll say that I like these binoculars, especially when I'm lazy and don't feel like setting up a scope. I did check out my usual...Jupiter, Vega, Deneb, Altair and Capella as well as everything in between that I'm still learning about.
