Also, on this mount you can put your scope on the left or right. Make sure it is on the right from mount like in my photo.
Make sure that the battery is fully charged.

My Meade HB (hand box) has a function that allows you to search for an object that is supposed to be within the

Edit: Ok, it has to be something with theHC . I set the mount up inside and did a fake 2 star alignment. After "centering" the first star, I, of course, picked the second star and on theHC display, I could see the az/alt degrees changing as they should. However, when the alignment was complete and I chose an object to view, the az/alt degrees fluctuated very little as the mount did just what it did last night. It was continually moving to the right and a little up/down. Then I decided to use Stellarium to control the mount. The mount did as it should have. Next clear night, I'll be using the laptop and see what happens.
