I learned about this forum from Ben Cartwright SASS. I am brand new to star gazing as I just bought my Celestron Nexstar 6SE and received it just yesterday. I have not yet had a chance to use it yet. I live in northern Indiana which many times are very cloudy

WOW! I want to thank everyone for the very warm welcome to
TSS!!
I need to tell you after I got my Celestron NexStar 6SE I found for me it was too bulky and too heavy for me to use to have to carry it outside for whenever I wanted to use it. I did return the Telescope to B&H where I purchased it from. I was very disappointed that I had to do that.
I do have a new thread here asking about learning to use AutoStakkert using my Canon 90D camera and my Sigma 150-600 Contemporary Lens (with my Sigma 2.0 Tele-extender)

I'm just west of Chicago, so I feel your pain. We've had a good string of clear nights though (fingers crossed that they continue
).

Thank you for your very warm welcome. You missed reading one of my posts just 2 or 3 up where I mentioned because the scope was too heavy for me I have returned the scope and I no longer am an owner of any telescope. I was very sad to have to do that.
