Hello Greg. A superb pair of images of the North America and Pelican Nebulae. I like both captures but the second one with the added H alpha is just outstanding. Thanks for sharing this amazing work with us Greg and I vote for a TSSAPOD Award too.

@STEVE333 I've learned a new "cheat code" for controlling the stars. I'm not sure if this is legitimate or not, but so far, it seems to work for me.
1. I process the RGB image and before I stretch it, while it is still linear, I make a clone and use StarXterminator (Check the Linear box and Generate Star Image)
2. Now, I take the star field image that was generated above and stretch it just to the point where I like the size and look of the stars. Add color saturation to make the colors look good.
3. Next, I stretch the starless "nebula" image to the point where I like it. Also, use Color Sat. to get the colors where I like them.
4. NoiseXterminator on the nebula image to knock down the noise.
5. PixelMath [starless nebula image + RGB stars image] = what you see here..
This was never possible with StarNet because it didn't work on linear images. Not sure if that's changed with StarNet2
