Image can be accessed from the link below. NGC7479, the "Superman Galaxy," is seen through some of our galactic molecular clouds (as are a few other galaxies in the field). It is classed SB(s)c and is a two armed, somewhat distorted galaxy - but not an Arp. Its distance is 80 to 90 million light years. Two other notable galaxies are UGC12300 and UGC12307 - 92 and 160 million light years distant respectively.
The molecular clouds take up the bulk of the field - some of which are designated in the PGCC catalog. There are some quasars and quasar candidates in the field as well - the highest redshift is 3.69 (12.0 billion light years lookback).
