Thanks AstroBee for providing this nice data. My SHO version processed with PixInsight.
PROCESING STEPS:
Cropped the images.
Linear noise reduction for all channels using MLT.
ABE
Stretched S, H and O images with HistogramTransformation.
For each of the images a clone was created and then applied inverted to protect the bright areas. Reduced noise using TGVDenoise.
Created starless S, H, O images using Starnet2 (also simultaneously created stars images).
Used RangeSelection to create masks for Oiii and Sii images to select the nebulosity. Stretched Oiii and Sii images with masks in place to boost nebulosity to approximately same level as
Ha image.
Created SHO image using ChannelCombination.
Increased color saturation using CurvesTransformation.
Used Convolution to slightly blur SHO image to reduce noise.
Sharpened
Ha image using MultiscaleLinearTransform.
Increased contrast of
Ha image with two applications of LocalHistogramEqualization (Kernel radii of 26 & 110).
Used sharpened
Ha image as Luminance for LRGBCombination with only L selected. Applied to blurred SHO image.
Used HistogramTransformation to adjust R,G and B black levels to align histogram peaks and achieve a black background.
Created an HOO image with the stars images.
Used PixelMath to add the stars image to the SHO_LRGB image.
