Teeter's

#1

Post by KingNothing13 »

I assume most have seen the news about Teeter's Telescopes ceasing production after the September 2019 production run (for the foreseeable future anyway).

https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/66ed26_f ... 152cc5.pdf

Rob also posted a video explaining his decision (and featured cameo's from his cats) https://www.teeterstelescopes.com/

It doesn't shock me that the custom telescope market runs on a razor thin line.

It's too bad - while I am not in the market for a new, expensive, custom telescope right now, Teeter's was definitely one of the ones I have been watching for when I am.

I hadn't seen that Brett. Thanks for the heads up. Yep, the telescope business seems like it is tough right now because of the competition.

This is why I always support a actual retail store over places like eBay and Amazon and will continue to do so.
Some nice refractors, eyepieces, mounts and related equipment

Hopefully he will come back to them in the future, the telescopes themselves are quite nice and his optics are first rate.
I would assume at this point though if he does they will be more expensive to make it worth his time and effort.
