Yup. Well it looks like I left a light leak in my DIY modified camera so I'm opening it up. It won't matter much in the end because an astro cam is on the way.

Besides which the craic is fun and life affirming. Crack on the other hand :Boo:Graeme1858 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 9:26 pm
It's an Irish word! But it's used a lot in England. It just means doing something that's fun or enjoyable or exciting or a laugh.
I expect you'll be ok using it in the US as long as you say you're going to have the craic, not you're going to have some crack!

Thanks Graeme, but I didn't buy it new. I purchased it as new off a local buy & sell, Kijiji, about four years back now. I pain $60CDN for it (34GBP), and have used it maybe 5 times.
This comes from having too many scopes . I tried to convert it to 1.25, but I don't have a focuser that has enough outward travel in that format. And the stock R&P's on these things were all metal with no slop and tight gears, so why not use it? I have a 32mm, 20mm, and 12.5mm lenses in .965 format that are honestly jaw-droppers from the Moon to Saturn to clusters. Not sure how that works!!!
The only thing I've done to this is center-dot the primary; collimating this thing at
Hope you have/had or are having a clear night!

That's a right bargain! Yeah, it's the clearest night for ages here and humidity is uncommonly low too. Bit chilly though.
Great Uncle Michael has got quite a ring to it!
