What are your thoughts about the SW Mak 180 for planetary imaging? Looking at taking a side step from deep sky over to planetary and have been trying to figure out the optimal scope for it.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most! :tease:

Scope: Explorer Scientific 127CF, Askar FR600, Planewave CDK 14""
Guide Scope & Camera: ASI 174, ZWO OAG-L
Camera: QHY 268 Mono, QHY 600 Mono
Mount: Planewave L-350, Skywatcher EQ8-Rh Pro, Losmandy G11
Accessories: Moonlite Nitecrawler WR30, WR35, Eagle 3&4 Pro, QHY CFW3/7 Filterwheel, QHY Polemaster,
Software: N.I.N.A., CdC, Planewave 3, Pixinsight

What equipment do you currently have?
It may be what you need already.
Some nice refractors, eyepieces, mounts and related equipment
The only culture I have is from yogurt

Current gear is Skaywatcher Esprit 120 on an EQ8-R Pro, ASKAR 400. Recently picked up a GSO RC 10" Hasn't seen first light yet, still waiting on collimater to show up. I mostly do deep sky but want to try my hand at planetary
