The Missing Messiers

Working on processing the final dozen Messiers, got them all last night. Will post in groups as processing progresses. First group, in order of acquisition, M62, M28, M69, M70 . All a bunch of globs in the far southern summer sky, usually in the muck of summer haze and a dozen or so degrees above the horizon. Of this group, M62 seems to be a fine cluster, if it was only 40 degrees higher in the sky, I would point the Bigdog at it.

All imaged in my AT80LE APO doublet at f6, 480mm efl, 10 to 20 one minute subs thru ASI1600MC-cool OSC, gain 200, offset 50, temp -16C, UV/IR filter. Overkill for guiding with 2500mm efl Bigdog, well at least it had something to do last night. All images center 25% crop of full frame.

Clear skies,
Steve
