Re: Where do you keep your eyepieces?
I have more eyepieces than the law should allow. Those not currently used are stored in what I call my "Sock Drawer"... a roll-around Craftsman tool box dedicated to astro equipment. However, my general set of eyepieces travel with me in a custom case made by Wood Wonders...

I have a larger impact resistant Nanuk case with pluck foam for the field trips.
and small aluminum case for the observing from home, for which I recently made custom insert from polyethylene foam.
And there are another set or two in the sock drawer which I rotate in and out of observing cases.

Re: Where do you keep your eyepieces?
As I think I wrote above, my preference for boxes (apart from the wood) is that I don't have to travel to a dark site,, if I did, I would certainly go with cases. I now have to find another use for the Pentax case though. ;(

Re: Where do you keep your eyepieces?
I also found a Plano Protector case for $4 at a Goodwill store that I also re-plucked.
The top eggcrate foam is a little too thick but holds the eyepieces and accessories really snug. I have added a few more items in each case since these photos were taken but still have lots of room for more.
