Is this what I have to look forward to now?
Take yesterday for example, 27ºC, clear skies all day, I even sunburnt my back on the beach, I take my scope to the balcony door in preparation to finally try and see Saturn or Jupiter (I've only seen the moon so far) and CLOUDY, and today, cloudy in the morning, sunny in the afternoon, and cloudy again.
:flame:
Maybe the weather has always been like this, I've just never noticed

Yep, I’ve noticed that, I suppose cloud does bubble up when the temperature drops, in humid environs even worse.

Re: Is this what I have to look forward to now?
It does seem cloudy skies are way more common than clear skies, over the country in general. It is absolutely that way in chicago. Last really clear day was many weeks ago.

It’s a good reason to have binos or a grab-n-go scope sitting by the door,
Man... That's some icky-tasting stuff!

Yes, but if you want to image something it’s doubly depressing as by the time you are setup... You know the rest.pakarinen wrote: ↑Fri Jul 03, 2020 10:44 am There’s a corollary - clouds and / or rain are predicted all night so you don’t bother to set up.
