This is another nightscape from last year. The lights protruding into the sky come from the Hood River Airport. This was taken from The Hatchery, a windsurfing/kite boarding launch sight on the Columbia River.

Yep, that's Mars. I originally thought that it was Jupiter. I double checked and it is Mars.
