A friend of mine is giving me an Apogee 152mm refractor. He hasn't used it in a while and wants to get rid of it. He said the last time he used it, last year, he looked at Saturn with it and was blown away by the detail he could see. I am not getting it for DSO's or planetary or Lunar, I have my Edge HD 8" for that and a SV SV80 for DSO.
I am getting to try on with solar H-Alpha.
One of the questions I have is the focuser, the one unit focuser attaches on the outside of the tube. Are there after market focusers that would fit this scope?
I ask because if it does well on the sun then I would want to upgrade the focuser.
I might not always be right but I am never wrong, once I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken...

Since he has the machinery to make something that may be your best option.
Your telescope looks identical in build to the ES refractors so I looked around for adapters for ES telescopes and the only ones I could find were for the 80mm and 102mm tubes.
Some nice refractors, eyepieces, mounts and related equipment The only culture I have is from yogurt
Most places do sell an adapter for the AR6 so hopefully it will be a direct fit.
Operating at f/33.6 should be interesting, I have never pushed mine that hard.
I would be interested to hear your conclusions.
