Re: Just pushed the order button!
Note the "long awaited", I've been trying to save (you know...life kinda gets in the way of this somehow!) and I've sold some stuff that rarely got used like that 10"LX200 and STILL some of the cost I had to put on plastic. But my birthday is coming at the end of next week and the financial manager (MASTER; wife) gave the OK (she acknowledges the level of my desire when she sees scopes going

Re: Just pushed the order button!
Wishing you years of enjoyment.
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.
The older I get, the better I was.
Celestron Nexstar+ 127 SLT, several budget plossl eyepieces, Celestron 8-24mm zoom EP and a 12.5mm illuminated double reticle EP, Svbony SV205 camera w/.5 focal reducer, Celestron SkyMaster 20x80 binos on a 40 yr old QuickSet PanHead tripod, Stellarium, Sharpcap and ManyCam on my laptop, SkyView and Nightshift on my phone and a dandy little $9 red-light flashlight.

Re: Just pushed the order button!
With those specs and that tripod all you'd have to do is put a camera on it and you'd be the Steven Spielberg of binoculars users. That view is gonna be fantastic, can't wait to read about it. :thumb:
