So there is evidence of pyroxene and olivine, two minerals associated with the moon's mantle. Since there were no plate tectonics on the moon only large impacts capable of spewing interior materials over the surface could be responsible. It's interesting that we are still learning about our closest neighbor. Thanks for posting the article Stephen.

Nice article. Be interested to see what a sample return mission turns up.
Any metaphor will tear if stretched over too much reality.
