Got one clear night, took advantage and bagged a couple rats,
NGC 4676, Arp 242, Mice. The famous interacting pair in the Spring sky, see Hubble. Sky conditions good, transparency excellent, seeing average, no wind, maybe 5mph, pleasant 56F. Only shot for an hour with the BigDog, tried to cram as many as I could in the only clear moonless night in a month.
Data; Meade 16 LX200 at f6.2 with Starizona reducer for 2500mm efl, Atik 460ex mono 15/2min lum, 5/2min ea.
RGB all 2x2 binned for 0.7 sec/pixel. No flats, bats, cats, etc, used GraXpert to do all that for free. Guided with Meade 107D 4 inch
SCT at f10 for 1000mm efl thru QHY5L-II mono at 4 sec rate. Posted image edge cropped and full scale.
Clear skies, got only one here,
Steve
