Better a proper Plossl if looking for a 52°

when Tyler wrote it he was just beginning in the hobby (literally only out a couple of times)
so was still learning his equipment let alone evaluating eyepiece quality.

I don't have a hands on experience with ES52, but I can highly recommend Vixen SLVs. SLVs have sharpness of Orthos and 20mm eye relief. Since I acquired them I have pretty much stopped using Plossls and Orthos.

I enjoy the Vixen SLV series as well.
Other than better eye relief or assuming gas filled is something special any 50/52°
If interested in 60°

Maybe I'm wrong, I see that they are out of stock. Not sure if they will reappear.
When I used them I found that they were very close to the televue radians.
