Lunt 80mm Double-Stacked
The two images were taken about 5 minutes apart.
A good chance as the southern hemisphere seems dominant as of late, with the recent 9.5m class flare loops might be imaged off that lower right quad too,
Mine is the the 4" dovetail too but i have the double stacked model with two pressure tuners so it seems to balance well.messier 111 wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 12:18 am Hi Greg,
I thought I'd ask you a question about the lunt ls80mt that I have.
The dovetail that comes with it is only about 4 inches long.
I saw that lunt as a 12 inches, but the holes do not reach the same place to attach the scope.
The 4 inch dovetails is really too small to properly swing the scope on my eqr6 pro mount.
I was wondering what you use.
thx Greg.

I know there are aftermarket companies like ADM that make longer bars with slots instead of holes that will allow you to slide the mounting position a bit. Look for something like this. https://www.admaccessories.com/product/ ... r-11-long/
