I know that the sensor is very expensive, that's what I also read $1500 in us

Wich means, its not really an optical eyepiece, its battery and your phone battery will go dead really fast and the main features will only work where your phone has enough signal.
Good thing is where cell phones dont work real eyepieces fortunatly still do

I am seriously considering night vision approach
https://www.televue.com/engine/TV3b_page.asp?id=36
and compared to that $1500 does not sound too bad.

I still do not take a phone out with me when observing, I have a atlas and some targets written down.StarHugger wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 1:41 am Aside from its ability to electronically enhance the views through, a built in camera, digital display and connectivity to your phone then your phones connectivity to your isp.

At most for electronics I have a pocket recorder and my audio player. Bach and the heavens!

It gets generally positive reviews once you get it set up right. However I know of two people that have them and they could not get them dialed in quite right.

There is another gadget out there that is similar to it, but at 3x the price. It would probably be worth it as it seems to be a better quality camera and sensor. I will look for it and post the link for it as well
