You can have one too! Just pick a date and start using it.
Date of birth is often used as identity confirmation. In health care, such as making a doctor's appointment or picking up a prescription, they ask your date of birth to verify your identity. Banks sometimes use it, too. With identity theft so common, I restrict the use of my real birthday to those with a need to know.
For other uses, such as social media, where it is nice to be recognized on one day a year, but where the actual date is not important, I use other dates that are not my actual birthday. I usually use the real year, because it is often useful for people to know my age, but the month and day are made up. That way, someone phishing for data on me will get the wrong date and will fail an identity check.
