Alot of action today across the Sun in Hydrogen Alpha and you got it all...

Mike, once again your "antique cameras , software and methods" blow me away!! Absolutely stunning! And I'm still using PS6 for editing and Paint Shop Pro 9 in Linux for cropping my Ca-K Shots, so you're not the only one with antiques :D

I was sure I had sent you a PM about the eclipse as in I won't make it over, and it seems I didn't. Been a "heady" few weeks here; apologies for my brain fart on that. The SolarQuest mount works great, but at a weight limit of 11lbs and the HA scope weighing the same...

I just got informed dinner is ready, I'll get back to you if that's OK and again, such good shots and detail!

H/A - PST stage 2 mod with a Baader 90mm ERF on a Celestron XLT 102 (thanks Mike!)
Ca-K - W/O 61mm, Antares 1.6 barlow, Baader 3.8 OD and Ca-K filters with a ZWO ASI174mm.
W/L - C80-HD with Baader 5.0 & 3.8 Solar film, Solar Continuum 7.5nm and UV/IR filters with a Canon EOS 550D.

I'm making plans tentatively for Iceland 2026 and totality there. Lots of good fish dishes to try while there. Plus I remember the Bjork song from 1989 they used to play on MTV.
