That is my go-to site for eclipse data. Like I mentioned in my report, I used that site to pinpoint where we would be observing from to obtain an accurate timeline for the event.

I am contemplating 2028 in Australia. Trying to figure out if I could go to some dark site there to do some southern sky observing as well.

My wife and I are going there for this one. That's going to be an early retirement gift to ourselves. She retires the next summer after that and I retire one year following. That will probably be our last hooray as far as expensive vacations are concerned.

Looks like Iceland, Greenland, Spain, and part of Sibera, if I am reading the map correctly.

I've never wanted to see Spain - but maybe I do now......

My cousin has invited me for that one. I don't know if I'll go, but it is tempting. As I recall, the centre of the path of totality goes right over the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Can you imagine the party?

Or New Zealand. The sun will be an hour from sunset so the prospects for spectacular photos are huge.
Milford Sound seems beautiful, and a decent "consolation prize" on its own, if it's too cloudy for the eclipse.
Or Dunedin (on the east side), depending on your choice of hilly terrain in your eclipse photo foreground, instead of a clear view out to the sea.
