Canadian eclipse stamps

#1

Post by Thefatkitty »

Hey all,

Well, here I sit in the hospital waiting room waiting for two things: The clouds to clear and my wife to have her surgery done. My Ca-K scope, mount and camera are in the trunk of my car, and my laptop is here with me now. It really doesn't look promising for me :(

I was reading the latest newletter from the RASC and they had a section on the new eclipse stamps from Canada Post. First time the P.O. here has done this; might be the last time 'till 2144....

They come in a booklet of 10, and cost $9.20CDN. I'm going to get one for sure; here's the link:

https://store.canadapost-postescanada.c ... ent-stamps

If you can't see/get to the site let ne know and I'll put up some pictures. Also, if you can't buy a set due to shipping/country concerns and would really like one, let me know and I'll fix you up ;) I'm not looking to make a profit either. I'll put off buying mine until I know; I'll give you all 'till Thursday.

Good luck to everyone in the path!!
Mark

Thanks Gabrielle, good to know and we're home now. Everything went well except for the weather

Thanks Andrey, she'll be fine in time. As for the eclipse... this was totality for me.
