Hey everyone :D

The past two days have been the clearest I've had since last summer, and it's coming to an end. Of course. The eclipse is tomorrow and I think Mother Nature must hate me...

Clear or not, I will be at Scarborough Hospital here in southern Ontario; 31 KM's (19 miles) from the path of totality; I'll get 99.81% of that if my skies are cooperative. My wifey needs surgery and tomorrow is the only available date for months, and this really needs to be done. She also needs someone to take her home afterwards; it can only be a family member, and we're all we have here.

I'm taking my Ca-K scope, mount and laptop with me for all this. Her surgery is scheduled for 2PM and will take an hour, and then the waiting afterwards. I'll be in the park next to the hospital hoping for the best in two ways!

Todays skies (why not tomorrow?)

And my skies an hour later. They know...!!!!

Nice imaging and best of luck tomorrow Mark !

I dont know how lucky I'll be either, I ditched taking the Rv as the little HHR is way faster and mor nimble in traffic.

Way way cheaper on fuel if we have to travel a ways too...

🤞
