Siril script star reduction via Starnet
Deepspace astro on Youtube has written a script for siril that uses starnet, how to install Starnet in Siril this is a pixel math script by bill blanchard and gave Deepspace astro permission to port to Siril ,link to the siril script in the comments of video but also link down below , so basically you need to download and instal starnet on your pc and configure Siril so it knows the directory path to starnet , download the star reduction script for siril and instal into scrips folder in siril ,Deepspace Astro covers quite a lot of Siril in his videos too.
i ran a pacman image through the script and seems to do a good job

Re: Siril script star reduction via Starnet
Thanks Dave,
I managed to get this working on my laptop but my desktop (over 10 years old) cannot work on Starnet++. Its a bit inconvenient as I have to some processing on my desktop and some on my laptop.
But I agree Siril is quite powerful and the limiting factor is my own skills and knowledge, not Siril.
