Re: Thoughts on the Baader eyepiece turret
In April 2023 I bought a nPAE 6061 off UK buy & sell for a price that would be considered robbery if I was not the one paying for it
It is a wonderful piece of kit and worked well when Saturn was appearing through the clouds.
Last year a long time observing friend past and I bought his Vixen AXD from his son. This new year he sent me his father Takahashi turret!
I have not had a chance to use it yet but am hoping for clear skies once the snow/ rain stop.
I gave the Geoptik turret to my brother in law to use with his TS 102
If it does not take another year to get some clear skies I will do a review of both turrets.
