IC1805
Heart of the Heart Nebula. The Seestar S50 is really nice to work with, quick to set up and images are not bad. Still learning how to process using PixInsight processes and scripts. This image might be a bit too much, please comment as this is the only way to learn.

Hi Kenneth,

That is an amazing image. I don't own Pixinsight so I'm no help there. Windows Photo is about my limit. :D The image looks really good to me.

Have fun.

Nice image!

The stars look pretty saturated. I usually separate the stars (using Starnet++) early in processing and give them a different stretch than the nebula. Unless they are over-exposed in the original frames, that should help preserve them.

Maybe a little less noise reduction.

Thanks for feedback, think I will try separating them next time. I will also try with a little less noise red.

Nice shot Kenneth for the SeeStar50. Does it allow you to record raw files or is all the stacking and processing done internally?

I stacked over 400 10sec subs in PixInsight, no darks or flats as these are automatically applied by the Seestar software.

Can you aim and image anywhere you want with your Seestar or are you restricted to objects in the database?

Using the SkyAtlas you can point and goto anywhere you choose.

Very nice image. I'm increasingly interested in EAA after first thinking that it was not a serious new entrant into the astronomy hobby

Thanks for posting. I'll look forward to seeing more captures. I just watched a YouTube video on that telescope. The new technology is fascinating. It checks all the blanks for me to see it as a serious tool. It is fun and it stretches the usr to learn something new. I once spent a year with a cheap plastic Galileoscope and had a great time. I hardly used my other telescopes that year.
