I would say this is probably generally true, but within that definition also lives customization of OEM products that are branded by others as well. The TS-125 is interesting because the focuser uses an extension tube. With tube in place it has 150mm backfocus like the AT which is insufficient for binoviewing without an OCA. Remove the extension and you get a wonderful 210mm backfocus which is more than sufficient for binoviewing without the need for an OCA/GPC so you can get the full TFOV out of the eyepieces you use.
