New Image: Simeis 57_The Propeller Nebula

Post by MariusD69 »

Hello!

Simeis 57 (DWB 111), is a nebula with a characteristic shape from Cygnus. Basically, it is a slice of the great emission nebula (H II region) spread over the entire constellation.
The image is a SHO combination with RGB stars. With a total exposure of 35 hours and 40 minutes, it took first place in my top. The third time in the last month that I beat my own record. I collected more hours in one month than in the whole winter and spring combined.
Exposures: 12 hours Ha, 11 hours OIII, 10 hours SII and 2h40m all RGB frames
Clear skies!
