AR3363 is rotating into view now and is looking like it will be the largest area we've seen in this cycle. Even larger than AR3354!
There is a very interesting writeup on SpaceWeather.com today (July 7th,23) about how the Mars Perseverance rover monitors the Sun every day to check for incoming dust storms. The really neat thing is that because of the position of Mars right now, it can see portions of the farside of the sun that is not currently visible to us Earthlings. The rover spotted AR3363 before we did!
